My Unique Lens

I believe that the return to the womb and cyclical wisdom is an essential remembering in this time, and is to be honored as a central and sacred relationship in our experience of having a female body. It is a teacher guiding us into intimacy with the Earth, and with the tribal and ancestral ways of women. It is to both be embodied in our power, and to be humble — knowing intimately the forces of birth and death. For women who are still in their bleeding years, to live intimately with the womb, and the menstrual cycle is to honor the ways our energy and hormones fluctuate throughout the month. It is to be more skillful in the descent and allowing for rest. In staying connected to our cycling energies, we are being guided to be a congruent voice for how we feel and what we need.

The vaginal tissue is a living archive. It holds memory in sensation and tone, or lack there of. Many women carry numbness, tension, or pain—residues of trauma, neglect, or disconnection. Through gentle, attuned touch—whether self-guided or practitioner-held—we invite circulation, presence, and trust back into the pelvis. With time, we discharge pain, charge numbness and expand pleasure. All in service to bringing more aliveness and embodiment to the base of our body, and to our capacity to hold embodied life force, which in my eyes, is the embodied power that transmits energy.

To look at, feel, and meet your vulva with curiosity and care is an act of reclamation. For many, this part of the body has been ignored, shamed, or only viewed through the lens of another’s desire. Coming home to your own gaze is to feel the layers of emotion, history, and sacred power that live here. In doing so, we shift the relationship from object to subject, from shame to sacredness, and from silence to self-regard.

The breasts and cervix are deeply connected—both energetically and neurologically. In this work, we explore the pathways between these tender centers, unweaving shame, stored grief, and blocks to receptivity. Through tending the breasts, we not only support the health of our breast tissue, but we support the heart center remaining unguarded. We also stimulate the pleasure center in the cervix, through the breasts, and explore the breasts as a huge center of pleasure and orgasmic potential.
-
Our ability to speak our desires and truths is intimately entwined with our capacity to feel energy in the pelvis. These two centers, pelvis and jaw, yoni and voice, are anatomically, energetically, and spiritually linked. As we tend to both, we massage open more liberated energy—and, with it, clarity about what we want, need, stand for, and enjoy. This is the path of embodied voice and erotic congruence.

Disordered eating patterns often arise not from food itself, but from our relationship with pleasure, receiving, and expression. As life energy circulates more freely through the body—and as we learn to receive and express with greater ease—our relationship with food begins to shift. Food is an incredible mirror — what am I really hungry for?

To awaken the body’s erotic energy is to encounter the veil of shame that so often surrounds it. This shame is not personal—it is generational, cultural, inherited. This work invites us to reclaim sex as sacred, to remember it as a holy gateway to the divine. Here, we open ourselves to the energy of life as prayer.

In rediscovering our pleasure body, we often meet cultural narratives that define pleasure narrowly—typically through the lens of the male orgasm: quick, peak, external. But feminine pleasure speaks in whispers and waves. It pulses in the thighs, reverberates at the cervix, swells in the breasts, and expands through the breath. Pleasure is a reclaiming, and a discovery of how our body experiences and feels subtle energy in motion. It’s a unique sensation and experience registered differently by each unique brain and body. It’s a restoration and a discovery, and one that can be tender — potentially bringing up grief and confusion in the process. It can be a powerful healing journey to really devote ourself to exploring our bodies sensational and feeling capacity.

As we deepen into our erotic and energetic truth, we become clearer about what truly nourishes us in relationship. This clarity births new relational maps. We begin to rewrite old contracts—spoken and unspoken—and show up in connection from a place of sovereignty and self-intimacy. Through restoring the connection between our pelvis and our voice, we restore a clarity of our no, and also our yes.
-
The ritual field opens the body to the more subtle field of energetics. The capacity to feel and open to the pleasure potential available in the body needs space to really allow the energy to open and expand. Ritual and space support the feeling body. Kink, because, kink is sacred, too! Play, frisk, and taboo is part of the discovery of our animal body.

The voice and sound are an essential aspect of our embodied experience. They are bridges for our needs and wants, and our yes and our no. Additionally, it is an essential vehicle for the movement of energy in our body. Subtle energy moves through breath, sound, and movement. To move pleasure energy in the body, we need to feel liberated in our voice & our sounding.
